Justin Folsom
Background and Education
Justin practices in a variety of civil litigation and transactional matters. His litigation focus is primarily centered around helping clients resolve contract disputes, partnership disputes, and real estate disputes. His transactional focus includes aiding with business formation as well as drafting various types of contracts including purchase agreements, promissory notes, operating agreements, and employment contracts.
Justin was born and raised in Alberta, Canada and spent the first 20 years of his life there. He attended college in Rexburg, Idaho where he graduated with a B.S. in Agriculture Business from Brigham Young University – Idaho. After college, he moved to Arizona to attend the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
While in Law School, Justin completed a two-semester internship at the Maricopa County Attorney’s office, where he was exposed to the court room often. He gained valuable experience by interacting with judges and other professionals in the courtroom while helping prosecute individuals charged with various crimes in Maricopa County.
After his internship at the Maricopa County Attorney’s office, he came to Denton Peterson Dunn, where he worked as a clerk until his admission to the bar.
In addition to spending time with his wife and two daughters, Justin enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, biking, and riding horses. He also enjoys playing sports such as basketball, wakeboarding, and snowboarding.
