Samuel Dampt

Samuel Dampt Samuel practices in a variety of civil transactional and litigation matters. His focus is primarily on business transactions and litigation, but he handles a wide range of other matters, including franchise organization and document preparation; real estate disputes; collection and collection defense; contract drafting, review, and litigation; and other civil matters.

Samuel is one of the few lawyers in Arizona who has experience preparing and submitting applications to the Arizona Supreme Court for businesses seeking licensing as Alternative Business Structures, a new development in Arizona law specific to this state.

Regardless of the practice area, Samuel approaches every client and every case with absolute integrity, putting his best into striving for the best possible outcome for his clients in every scenario.

Samuel graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in urban planning, and took his interest in land use and real property to Utah to attend law school at Brigham Young University. Samuel graduated from BYU one semester early, in December of 2019, and was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in May of 2020. Samuel has been practicing law with Denton Peterson Dunn ever since.

Some samples of Sam’s recent work:

  • Advising a judgment debtor who was able to settle a $1.3 million judgment for $28,750.
  • Assisting a small business owner launch its franchise operations, including the preparation of a franchise disclosure document and other necessary franchise documents.

  • Obtaining five-figure sanctions against an opposing party in a contentious and long-running collections matter—after which the debtor finally paid substantial payments on a judgment for alimony and child support.

Originally born in France, Samuel has lived in the East Valley for nearly twenty years. He is fluent in both French and English. Samuel enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children. He’s an avid soccer fan, and also enjoys exploring Arizona’s outdoors.
