Amanda Palacio

Background and Education

Amanda Palacio practices in various civil transactional and litigation matters. She helps clients resolve a wide variety of other matters, including business contracts and disputes; real estate disputes; employment drafting, review, and litigation; legal research and drafting; civil discovery and disclosure; and other civil matters.

Amanda’s parents were born and raised in Arizona, and her entire extended family currently resides in Arizona. Amanda moved back to Arizona in August 2022 after living in Kansas for the past 16 years. Amanda received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas, where she majored in Marketing and obtained a minor in Finance. She then attended the University of Kansas School of Law and graduated in May 2022. She has passed the Bar, and as of this writing is waiting to receive her law license anytime.

During law school, Amanda participated in her school’s Judicial Field Placement program, where she spent a summer as a clerk for a judge in the Johnson County District Court in Kansas. Amanda acquired valuable skills during her clerkship and enjoyed the experience so much that she took a position as a clerk for the second time during the summer after her second year of law school.

Amanda also interned for a personal injury law firm during her final year of law school. Amanda gained invaluable knowledge and skills during this time and drafted numerous legal briefs and memorandums on behalf of the firm. Amanda also received a successful ruling from a judge on a memorandum she submitted where she advocated on behalf of her client whose substantive rights had been violated.

All of Amanda’s experiences have helped contribute to her understanding of the personal, emotional, and financial impact and burden clients face when dealing with legal issues. Amanda uses this perspective in guiding clients through legal and litigation processes—aspiring to procure the best results for her clients.

Amanda is an avid weight-lifter and participates in an array of various types of fitness and forms of exercise such as yoga, hiking, and skiing. Amanda is also an avid reader and is currently enjoying an eight-book fantasy fiction series. She also loves to cook, journal, and spend time with family and friends in her free time.
